Brain/Body Fitness is a must for successful students! Taught from an early age, this STRIPES training for kids will instill a healthy habit of checking in to their mind and body to see what is going on in and around their body. What messages is the brain sending to the body right before a big test? Most likely the mind is sending a strong negative, unhealthy messages to the body that instantly is creating tension and anxiety. How about the ADHD student who deals daily with the pressure of mostly negative feedback about his or her behavior during school? Disappointed looks, punishment, and constant disapproval from the people around them can set them up for internal stress and a host of other self-esteem and self-management issues at school and at home. My mission is to help parents and classrooms (or anyone working with students) have a curriculum that will easily prepare them to teach their children tools in self-management and attention building. This life-changing method of relaxation and self-management called STRIPES, Systematic Trianing in Relaxation; Inner peace for Every Student, can go with them everywhere they go and provide them with the gift of relaxation for life.
